The Allston Brighton APAC and Family Service Center has been providing high quality child care and daycare services in the community for over 45 years. Our highly trained and educated staff provide a safe, warm, environment for your child to explore, experiment, learn, socialize, and develop in. We know how children learn and we have the knowledge, expertise and experience to teach and prepare children for entry into first grade. Your child’s stay with us will be one of learning and developing new skills while in a fun and happy place.
Families with children between the ages of 2 years and 9 months and 6 years old are eligible to be enrolled into the program. Subsidized child care is available for low to moderate families who meet eligibility. The APAC subsidy for child care is available for all Massachusetts residents. You start by filling out an application and then you will be placed on a waiting list for state subsidized child care. You remain on the waiting list until space is available and it is your turn. You are welcome to visit the daycare program prior to submitting your initial application if you desire.
When a space becomes available, you will be contacted for an appointment to visit one of our childcare centers along with an appointment to receive a developmental history, and physical form which must be completed. A list of documentation is also given to you at this time. When you have all documents completed, they are reviewed and an appointment for enrollment into the program is scheduled. Your child’s first day of child care is then scheduled. Families applying for subsidy must be on the state child care waiting list.
